Basilio Aguirre was born in Houston, TX. He garduated his assoiates of fine arts and later in 2006 he obtained his Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Basilio aguirre such as many other artist has been an artist all his life. Basilio Aguirre would best describe himself as an aspiring 2 dimensional artist.  Basilio enjoys working on social related themes while still being able to bring Islamic archetype into his pieces. Basilio Aguirre is works with mediums such as pastels, both dry and oil, acrylic and oil paint, cante and charcoal. Basilio Aguirre has also created works in print. These prints are technical in process but Basilio has been succesful in producing intaglio and relief type prints on a virety of different paper and sizthat one major characteristic of Basilio Aguirre's work is the sizes of his pieces as he normally works on a large scale. Currently Basilio Aguirre is also working as a Spanish English interpreter at a clinic and with previous experience doing the same work as interpreter for about 8 years. Basilio Aguirre is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and holds also Certified Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor, training staff within his current organization on deafen desecration techniques.
